§ 2.12.040. Payment of bonds or interest coupons.

  • It shall be the duty of the treasurer, when bonds or interest coupons may be payable at any point other than at the city of Sheridan, to forward to the banking house or other agency, at which said bonds or coupons may be payable in time to pay the same at maturity, a sufficient sum of money from the funds of the city to pay the same, and the receipt of such banking house or agency for such sum shall be a sufficient voucher for any such payment until such bonds or coupons so paid may be received by the treasurer in due course of business.
